Christine Karpinski, the director of Owner Community for HomeAway and VRBO.com, and bestselling author of How to Rent Vacation Properties by Owner, will lead the seminar along with other HomeAway vacation rental experts.
The seminar will be held December 1st and 2nd at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Destin. After a Friday night networking event, novice and experienced owners of vacation homes will each have their own Saturday session to learn about effectively managing and making more money from their investments without the use of a property manager. The sessions will cover all aspects of renting “by owner”. Workshops will be held Sunday for owners to ask questions and receive critiques of their HomeAway and VRBO.com listings.
